THE ULTIMATE GOLD FESTIVAL
Programme Of Events
Stratford Churches ran lots of activities during the Olympic & Paralympic Games. The Salvation Army had sporting events, St. James' Church and Major Road Baptist Church provided hospitality to visitors walking past, Highway Church showed events on a large screen and Central Baptist Church had children's activities, prayer, hospitality, services and concerts.

The Hub of the Ultimate Gold activities was St. John's Churchyard and there were open-air activities from 12noon until late almost every day.

There were Christian entertainers – highlights included a Dance Team from Paris, a Christian Rock Band from Poland, the Saltmine Theatre Company and various bands and singers from the UK, a dance group from Rio de Janeiro and the Light of the World Parade from the US. For 3 days we also had the Youth for Christ Football Cage in the Churchyard.

Visitors to Stratford stopped and enjoyed the open-air entertainment and refreshments, and let us share the Good News and pray for, and with, them.

Please see our map pages for venue locations.
